The paper studies adjusting motor speed sensorless based on measured current components. The electromotive force (back-EMF) generated in the stator is estimated by a High-Gain observer. The angular position and velocity rotor is calculated through the α-β components of the back-EMF. The motor drive is built in a vector control structure based on the rotor flux, using PID controllers to control rotor position and speed. The speed feedback signal is taken from the output of the High-Gain observer. Simulation results in Matlab-Simulink software show that the output speed value of the drive follows the desired trajectory, and the rotor is controlled in the equilibrium position. This also indicates that the High-Gain Observer has a very good speed estimation
ER -
