Abstract

In this paper, an ultra-wideband transceiver antenna system consisting of a TEM horn antenna for receiver and a triangle monopole antenna for transiver, has been studied and fabricated. These antennas is intergrated in circuit of a UWB sensor networks, applicable to wireless communication systems using ultra-wideband technology in industrial environments with special operating conditions. Simulation and measurement results have shown that the designs meet the requirements of the system. The antenna system has a wide operating bandwidth between 1GHz and 8GHz and offers high efficiency and great gain over the entire frequency band.
