Chaos phenomenon in wind power generation system using doubly-fed induction generator
Abstract
Chaos phenomenon can occur in wind power plants with Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG), which causes disadvantages for the system. This is a phenomenon that only occurs with nonlinear dynamical systems, sensitive to initial conditions and aperiodic but it is governed by deterministic laws, unlike random perturbations. By method of analysis based on theory and simulation, the paper will demonstrate the chaotic phenomenon for DFIG when the parameter of the stator winding change into a certain value.
