This paper presents a digital control method for a single-phase voltage-source inverter, implemented on the TI Delfino F28377S microcontroller and developed using a Model-Based Design approach to shorten the development cycle. In digital control, a major challenge arises from delays introduced by ADC and PWM peripherals, as well as the computation time of the microcontroller, which can degrade control performance. To address this issue, the paper proposes employing a Lead compensator to mitigate the delay effect, thereby enhancing dynamic response and output voltage quality. Both simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed delay compensation method achieves superior performance compared to conventional digital control.
