Journal of Measurement, Control and Automation (MCA) continues to be recognized up to 1 point

On July 11, Chairman of the State Council for Professorship of Viet Nam, Prof. Nguyen Kim Son, signed Decision No. 26/QD-HDGSNN to approve the List of scientific journals that are recognized by 28 Councils for Professorship of various disciplines and inter-disciplines in 2025.

Journal of Measurement, Control and Automation (MCA) continues to be recognized up to 1 (one) point by the Electrical-Electronic-Automation Interdisciplinary Council for Professorship; and be recognized up to 0.5 point by the Council for Professorship in Mechanics.

In addition, it is the first time the Journal of MCA has been recommended to the Mechanics-Dynamics Interdisciplinary Council for Professorship and recognized by the Council with 0.25 points in 2025.

The Journal of MCA is an academic journal of the Vietnam Automation Association, with a history of 12-year official publication. The predecessor of MCA is the Special Issue of Measurement, Control and Automation.

Since August 2024, when the Automation Today Journal had a new Operating License, the MCA Journal has made progress in having its own publication index p-ISSN as 3030-4555 and being capable of assigning DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for all the articles from 2025 onwards. Besides, the Journal has been included in the list of prestigious scientific journals publishing research works by the National Foundation for Technology Innovation (Nafosted) since 2019. It is proved that the reputation of the Journal keeps being enhanced.

In the meeting on June 23, 2025, the Editorial Board of the Journal of Measurement, Control and Automation affirmed that it is time for the Journal to move towards the aim of becoming an international standard scientific journal. The Editorial Board has also made a detailed plan with necessary steps to achieve the set goal.
