Optimal control according to the rapid and minimum impact of energy consumed during periodic induction heating of cylindrical metal
Keywords:

The object of research is the process of periodic induction heating of steel cylindrical workpieces before pressure processing. A two-dimensional numerical model of the process in the finite element package FLUX for interrelated electromagnetic and thermal analysis has been built. Problems of optimal control in terms of speed and minimum power consumption are formulated and solved. The solution of the problems was done on the basis of the alternance optimization method, developed by the Vietnamese-Russian team of scientists at the Samara State Technical University-Russia.
