This paper presents a passive component selection method for the independently controlled neutral module in a three-phase four-wire converter applied to Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) systems. Under unbalanced load conditions, negative-sequence and zero-sequence components are generated, leading to DC-side voltage oscillations that affect system performance and stability. To ensure safety and optimize the converter’s efficiency, passive components including split capacitors and neutral inductors are designed to limit ripple on the supply voltage and current flowing through the neutral inductor. The system is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink under unbalanced load scenarios to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Simulation results demonstrate that the analysis and selection of passive components contribute to ensuring safety, enhances converter stability, and improves power quality in V2H applications.
